Welcome to the 24th Nordic Conference in Development Economics (NCDE) which will be held in Växjö, Sweden, on June 16–17, 2026. This yearly conference serves as a meeting point for development economists active in the Nordic countries, but is also targeted more generally to academic researchers in Europe and beyond with a special aim to provide an arena for junior scholars to present their work.

Submission procedure
Interested applicants wishing to present their research should complete the online application form: https://axacoair.se/go?py3X14W0. We particularly encourage submissions from early-career and female researchers.
Application requirements
A full-length paper (preferable), or an extended abstract
- the first page should include all author names and affiliations
- in PDF format
- English language
The author submitting the paper is expected to present.
Conference package and travel
There is no conference fee. Meals will be provided by the organizers. Unfortunately, funding for accommodation and travel is not available. However, we may be able to assist a limited number of PhD students with their expenses if needed (any interest in this possibility should be indicated at the time of submission).
