Economists working in applied micro are invited to submit papers to the inaugural Vancouver Applied Microeconomics Conference, taking place May 21–22, 2026 at Simon Fraser University’s downtown campus in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The submission deadline is March 1, 2026, with decisions scheduled for March 30, 2026.
Thematic Focus: Education and Human Capital
The 2026 edition will center primarily on education, children, and human capital, reflecting ongoing research on schooling, early-life interventions, skill formation, and long-run outcomes.
Organizers also signal interest in complementary applied micro work, including papers examining crime, behavioral outcomes, and related policy-relevant topics.
