Join us for Prepare for Job Market in Academia, a half-day in-person-only workshop hosted by the University of Bristol Business School on Tuesday, 24th March 2026. Designed specifically for PGR students in Business Studies (Management, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting), this event brings together faculty who graduated from leading institutions like Bristol, LSE, Oxford, Bocconi, Cornell and Penn State, and are now well positioned on the other side of faculty and even hiring panels.The event aims to support PGR community as you prepare for academic job applications, market expectations, and long-term career planning.
We are planning three sessions on the day:
Session 1: Navigating and Experiencing the Job Market.
Session 2: Behind the Scenes: Evaluating Job Applications.
Session 3: Career Long-Term Planning.
And bookable 1-to-1 meetings with speakers (details below).
