Three-year postdoctoral research positions funded by the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian government) to strengthen research groups with new doctoral talent.

Program Purpose

The call aims to:

  • Promote employment of PhD research staff

Eligibility Requirements

Doctorate Requirements:

  • Hold a doctoral degree (from any field)
  • Degree obtained no more than 5 years ago
  • Extension possible for disability or family reconciliation

International Research Experience:

  • Minimum 12 months research stays abroad (required)
  • At least 9 months must be after obtaining doctorate
  • Each stay must be minimum 3 uninterrupted months
  • Documentation from host institutions required
  • Exemption available for candidates with disabilities

Research Group Affiliation:

  • Must have Research Supervisor from University of Seville
  • Each supervisor supervises maximum 1 participant
  • Research must align with group's research lines

Prior Funding Limitations:

  • Not previously hired for more than 12 months under similar grants (2019 or 2021 calls)
  • No prior hiring restrictions otherwise

Nationality:

  • EU citizens and international researchers eligible

Position Details

Contract Type: Full-time, exclusive dedication

Annual Salary: €46,215

  • Covers salary and social security contributions
  • Consistent across all 3 years

Total Compensation: €138,645 for full 3-year contract
