The Economics of Environment and Energy Programme, STICERD (EEE) in the LSE Economics Department are delighted to announce the third LSE Environment Camp, taking place on May 20-21 2026, at the LSE. This two-day conference aims to provide PhD students from all fields of economics with an opportunity to present new research on environmental issues, engage with future colleagues, and receive exceptional feedback.
We are now accepting submissions for papers from PhD students in all areas of environmental and energy economics. The conference will feature keynote lectures by Ishan Nath (HKS) and Bruno Conte (UPF) on frontier topics in environmental economics. For other selected presenters, speaking slots will be 30 minutes each.
There is no fee to apply or register for the conference, and all PhD students are welcome! Applications should be submitted via the website by 6 March 2026 (Friday) .While draft papers are preferred, extended abstracts will also be considered.
Submissions will be reviewed by a scientific committee, and authors will be notified of their acceptance by early April 2026. Please note that limited funding is available to cover travel expenses for speakers only. PhD students who are not presenting are also welcome to attend.
